Meet Jennifer! She is the owner of Studio 52 Images and Gifts based in Salem, AL. Not only is Jennifer a small business owner, she is also a mom of 3, veteran and student studying public administration at Auburn University. Studio 52 Images and Gifts specializes in sublimation with the motto "customized by you, for you". Jennifer creates a variety of seasonal products and keeps it local by designing items that represent local high schools and various organizations in the area.
As a disabled veteran woman owned local business, Studio 52 Images and Gifts focuses on giving back to the community through partnering with organizations and using custom products to fundraise for local schools. Keep reading to learn more about this amazing small business!
What is your favorite part about owning a small business?
I enjoy crafting and creating products that make others happy! My favorite part is designing and producing custom products from start to finish. We are also a family run business and I love working with the family.
How did you come up with your business name?
We took inspiration from our address which has 52 in it, and we do photography as well as our unique gifts!
Tell us about your products/merchandise
We specialize in custom products, and our use of sublimation gives us the ability to make any of our pieces fit our customer's order. One of our popular sellers is our tumblers made with military, first responder and holiday images on them. We have garden flags and double sided banner letters, as well as decorative pillows that celebrate local high schools and holidays. We love to partner with the community by offering school fundraisers with our products.

We sell through our Facebook page, Studio 52 Images and Gifts, and in The Maker and Merchant store.
What has been your biggest success?
Helping our community through fundraising for schools! Our customizable flags, banners, shirts, and pillows that highlight local high schools make for great fundraisers.
What is one thing you wish you knew before starting your small business?
How much time it takes to accomplish everything you want to achieve with the goals you set!
What is the best piece of advice you would give someone aspiring to start their own small business?
Have a plan and stick with it!
